Imocobel is the holding company of the founding family of Interparking. Initially created as a holding company for the family’s stake in Interparking, Imocobel has, since 2010, been partnering with entrepreneurs to diversify its activities across new ventures. Imocobel is still an active shareholder of Interparking.

Interparking was founded in 1958 by Claude De Clercq, it is now operating in nine European countries. After developing its car parking services in Belgium, they expanded across Europe. Today, they operate close to 1,000 sites in 415 European cities. Over the past six decades, they have grown to become one of the continent’s leading car park operators.

Yves De Clercq started working for the family business in the 1970s. He climbed the ladder and worked closely with his father, Claude, before being appointed CEO. Interparking owes most of its international development to Yves and Baudouin Ruquois, his brother-in-law.
